Dr. Wright joined Monroe Health Center in March 2004.  He currently serves as Medical Director, County Health Officer and is also heavily involved in threat preparedness for the county.  He graduated from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine as a Family Practice Physician.  Prior to his move to beautiful Monroe County, he practiced for 16 years in upstate New York where he worked in various positions including Director of Emergency Services at Adirondack Regional Hospital.  He and his wife Robin now reside in Greenville.

Dr. Sibold joined Monroe Health Center as a full-time physician for the Monroe Health Center in March 2005.  She graduated from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine and later did her internship as well as her residency in Family Practice in Corpus Christi, Texas.  She and her husband Brad, along with their sons Thomas & Christian, now reside in Pickaway.

Dr. Haag joined Monroe Health Center-Peterstown Clinic as a full-time physician in July 2005.  Dr. Haag graduated from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine and did his residency at Southern Ohio Medical Center.  He and his wife Janet and family reside in Peterstown.

Dr. Hansbarger joined our team in June 2007.  Dr. Hansbarger was raised in Monroe County and attended Union High School.  He later graduated from the Marshall University School of Medicine with a degree in Family Practice.  Dr. Hansbarger is currently providing services at the Craig County Health Center.

Nancy Roberts, PA-C joined Monroe Health Center in 2004.  Previous to her employment here, she received her M.S. in Epidemiology from the University of Virginia, where she worked as a medical technologist in the Newborn Intensive Care Unit.  Ms. Roberts also worked in Infectious Diseases in Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center and has worked on studies with the National Institute of Health Centers for Disease Control.  She obtained her Physician's Assistant Certificate from the Kettering College of Medical Arts.  She owns a small farm and enjoys horseback riding, kayaking, reading, and hiking in her spare time.

Erica Adkins, PA-C joined Monroe Health Center in September 2005.  She graduated from WV University in 2002 with a Bachelors Degree in Medical Technology.  Erica later received her Physician Assistant Degree from Mountain State University in Beckley, WV.  She is originally from Nettie, WV and now resides in Lewisburg with her husband Matt and twin daughters.

Tambra Pitt, Family Nurse practitioner, will be providing services primarily at the Mt. View Wellness Center and James Monroe Wellness Center.  She received her Family Nurse Practitioner Degree from Marshall University and was an enlisted service member of the U.S. Navy for five years.  Tambra was born and raised in Monroe County and graduated from Union High School.  Tambra currently resides in Union.

Jason Flassing, PA-C joined the Craig County Health Center in February 2009.  He received his Master of Medical Science from Emory University.  He is a National Health Service Corps Scholar and is passionate in his pursuit of providing quality primary care services to the citizens of Craig County.  He currently splits his time between the Craig County School Wellness Center and the Craig County Health Center.  Previous to pursuing a career as a physician assistant, he worked as a mental health technician for the Carolina Center, a psychiatric hostpital near Greenville, SC.  He is an avid hiker and loves spending time with his wife and two young children.

Dianne Frye,Family Nurse Practioner, joined the Monroe Health Center on August 25, 2009. Dianne will be providing services at the Peterstown School Wellness Center. She received her Family Nurse Practitioner Degree from Radford University and has most recently been working at the Radford University Student Health Clinic in Radford, Virginia. Dianne currently resides in Peterstown with her husband Joseph and their two youngest children, Carlee and Tucker. Dianne enjoys gardening and bicycling. Most days all of the family can be found outside enjoying time together.

Chelsea Hunter,MS is currently employed with FMRS under the SBIRT (Screening, Brief Intervention, and Referral to Treatment) grant and is working for Monroe Health Center’s  Union and Peterstown sites.  Providing free counseling services such as, substance abuse, depression/anxiety, grief, domestic violence victims, anger management, and life in general!  These services are offered to our patients ages 12 and up.  She is originally from Morgantown, WV, where she attended and graduated from West Virginia University.  She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy and English and went on to pursue a Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling which she completed in May 2009. Work experience includes the Rape and Domestic Violence Center in Morgantown, WV and the VA Medical Center in Beckley, WV.
